Heroes of 71 - Retaliation

Heroes of 71 - Retaliation is a third-person shooter set in the Bangladesh Liberation War, in which you play several members of the rebel side of the conflict fighting Pakistani soldiers on different fronts.

You can play various different rebel characters, including a woman (something new in this second installment), each with his or her own distinctive weapon. Your goal is to advance over the different areas in the setting and kill all the enemy soldiers that cross your path.

In the first mission you have to rescue a group of civilians taken prisoners by the enemy, and in the second blow up a bridge. For both your only support is a small group of fighters armed with rifles and machine-guns.

Heroes of 71 - Retaliation is a pretty interesting action game, especially because it shows an armed conflict that isn't very well known outside Bangladesh. The creators of the game have in fact declared that the intention was to raise awareness about their heritage and their history.
